Our one word focus for 2024 is the word “PRESENCE.”
The promise of God isn’t that we will live in absolute comfort and ease. The promise is that God will “stick closer than a brother” through it all.
What if we made a habit of walking in His presence? During moving movements at church services but also in our daily lives; zoom meetings, bedtime routines, family time, morning coffee, etc?
JOINING
What is God already doing? In people’s lives. At your workplace. In your family. At Voice. How can you join in and partner with God where He is already at work?
INVITING
Where are you doing life without intentionally inviting God? Maybe areas of pain or dreaming about the future? Maybe there is a pattern of behavior where shame is keeping you isolated from Him or a group of relationships that seem to be a “Jesus free” zone? How could you invite God into those spaces?
As we make it a goal to walk more in step with God, we’ll find that His voice becomes clearer and our trust stronger.
I’m looking forward to what God is going to do as we focus on His presence this year!
Ultimate peace doesn’t come from the absence of problems but from the presence of God!
